Timeline for Mary S. Stannon
- July 7, 1749- Mary S. Stannon is born to John S. Stannon and Elizabeth S. Stannon in New York
- February 23, 1752- John S. Stannon dies and mom remarries. Mary and Susan get a step brother, Marco Polo.
- January 15, 1752-Mary’s sister, Susan S. Stannon was born in New York
- December 25, 1753- Begins her schooling in a one room schoolhouse
- July 16, 1756- Gets bullied by someone but fights back. Mary had learned a valuable lesson
- January 4, 1759- Ends her schooling and stays at home with her mom to help around
- June 19, 1762- Soldier arrives at my home and take me away so I could fight at war
- November 26, 1764- I make an escape back to my own home from the training camp.
- March 24, 1766- Becomes a cook at the “Finale”
- June 3, 1769- Married to Jack M. Sates and leaves family to move to a new home
- October 5, 1769- Goes on strike with citizens because of payment and citizens win. I gain favor of everyone’s hearts and become famous.
- July 1, 1770-Gives birth to first child, Ethan S. Stannon
- September 16, 1771- Gives birth to Henry S. Stannon
- July 21, 1772- Gives birth to Katherine S. Stannon
- May 30, 1773- Gives birth to final child, Nathan S. Stannon
- 1799- Children begin to leave Mary and soon only has one child at home, Katherine, but she soon leaves too.
- April 19, 1819- Mary S. Stannon has a heart attack, but recovers.
- February 21, 1823- Dies of pneumonia
